Our Founders
Dr. Bhanu Prakash Nunna
Managing Director, ThinkJustice Foundation, India
Dr. Bhanu Prakash Nunna is the Founder and Managing Director of ThinkJustice Foundation and Vice-President of the World Society of Victimology. He serves as Director of the Centre for Victimological Research and Victim Assistance and Assistant Professor of Psychology and Victimology at RV University, India, where he also directs the undergraduate Criminology programme. Through ThinkJustice Foundation, Dr Nunna advances justice education and co-organises the International Conference on Global Criminology and Victimology (ICGCV), a platform that brings together researchers, practitioners, and institutions across South Asia and beyond.
With over 15 years of experience as a psychologist, Dr. Nunna has provided counselling to trauma victims, university students, and elderly populations. He serves as guest faculty at institutions including the LNJN National Institute of Criminology and Forensic Sciences, New Delhi, and as Resource Faculty at the prestigious Postgraduate Courses on Victimology in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
Dr. Nunna is a Grant Writing and Funding Scholar at the Leaders of Africa Institute and has contributed to numerous publications in national and international journals. His research focuses on sexual victimization, medical victimization, secondary victimization, and victim support training. His work is guided by the belief that a criminal justice system's true measure lies in how it treats and supports victims, not merely in how it punishes offenders.
Dr. Manikandan Soundararajan
Executive Director, ThinkJustice Foundation, India
Dr. Manikandan Soundararajan is the Founder & Executive Director of ThinkJustice Foundation, India. He Serves as a Fellow, Policy Unit, De Montfort University, UK. He also chairs the Postgraduate Committee at the British Society of Criminology, where he advocates for Global South students and promotes inclusive scholarship in criminology research. Through ThinkJustice Foundation, He advances justice education and co-organises the International Conference on Global Criminology and Victimology (ICGCV), a platform that brings together researchers, practitioners, and institutions across South Asia and beyond.
Dr. Manikandan holds a PhD in Criminology from the University of Staffordshire which was fully-funded the university and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, UK. His doctoral research examined policing and undocumented migration in the West Midlands. He also holds an MPhil in Criminology from Rashtriya Raksha University, India, where his dissertation focused on the victimisation of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh camps.
His academic contributions include publications in the British Journal of Criminology, Policy Press and the Routledge Handbook of South Asian Criminology, with research spanning migrant smuggling networks, refugee victimisation, and recidivism. He has received prestigious international awards including the Division of International Criminology Graduate Award from the American Society of Criminology and the British Society of Criminology Postgraduate Bursary.


Siva T
Finance Director, ThinkJustice Foundation, India
Siva T is the Founder & Finance Director of ThinkJustice Foundation, India. He is a criminology scholar with interest in organised crime, economic crime, and crime prevention. He holds an MA in Criminology with a specialisation in Security Studies from Rashtriya Raksha University, Gujarat, and a BA in Criminology and Police Administration from the University of Madras, where he graduated as First Rank Holder and received the Overall Best Outgoing Student Award.
Siva has presented his research at the British Society of Criminology Annual Conferences in Glasgow (2024) and Preston (2023), exploring topics including female sex work in India and migrant smuggling networks. His published work on Indian migrant smugglers appears in the British Society of Criminology Online Journal (2024). He playes a key role in organising the International Conference on Global Criminology and Victimology.
